This is shorthand for keywords that you can select yourself (with certain restrictions, as described in the publication that contains that datasheet). Some datasheets have keywords that are presented in angular brackets, such as, and. The pluralisation (or not) of keywords does not affect which units the rule in question applies to. This means it only applies to units that have the INFANTRY keyword on their datasheet.
For example, a rule might say that it applies to ‘ INFANTRY units’. Keywords are sometimes linked to (or ‘tagged’ by) a rule. In either case, keywords appear in KEYWORD BOLD in the rules. The former can be used as a guide to help decide which models to include in your army, but otherwise both sets of keywords are functionally the same. Ideally, this won't happen, and your base will be sufficiently defended by the anti-tank turrets and other land-based units.KeywordsAll datasheets have a list of keywords, separated into Faction keywords and other keywords. The Cybran forces won't follow you, affording you a safe chance to regroup. Your ACU should already be with Maddox, but if it isn't, send it and any surviving units to the ruins of the UEF base you destroyed. If this happens, there's a way to survive. While you're trying to reach Maddox, there's a very real chance that the oncoming Cybran onslaught will destroy your entire base. While they're being built, teleport your ACU and all the Engineers you already have at camp to Maddox's location. Queue up two of them, and queue up some more Engineers. You cannot put these off, as doing so may cost Maddox his life, which equals an automatic loss for you. As soon as you're able to, purchase the Universal Colossus. On the Research menu, unlock the Space Temple. Following the nuclear explosion, send a trio of Engineers there to clean up the mess, and build Mass Extractors there. If your Urchinows are managing on their own, try sending as many of your land units back to camp as possible so they may avoid the aftermath. You'll be able to obliterate him before they completely destroy your force. Make sure they all move together, and that they close in while the Commander is nearing the base's west-most border.
When your Experimentals are built and ready to go, send them-alongside twenty plus land units of various types-to the UEF base to your east-southeast, targeting the Commander exclusively. During this time, have your Land Factory pumping out missile launchers, tanks, and a comparatively small amount of anti-air units. Once you have the resources, queue up three Urchinows. Use them to unlock the Urchinow, and have your ACU construct an Experimental Gantry. If you don't have enough Mass and/or Energy to put that up, wait until you can, and then queue up the rest of the Add-Ons.īy now, you should have built up a cache of Research Points. Fortify it with all of its Add-Ons, starting with the Shield. Meanwhile, construct a couple Research Facilities, and build a Land Factory in the southeast. Position those structures near the north-most border of your campsite, as that's where the Cybran's land-based machines will eventually attack. Spread your existing units around your territory, and start complementing your anti-air turrets with a healthy collection of Long Range Point Defenses. You're going to need them, as the opposing UEF commander's going to send an AC-1000 your way. If you have time and resources, put up more. To protect everything, build at least four anti-air turrets next to each Mass Extractor. Afterward, unlock the Shield Generator, and the Mass Convertor, which will actually come in handy here. The first order of business is to unlock increased Mass and Energy production, and the second is to build four Mass Extractors and three Energy Generators.
